How to Transfer your files to your MPC using a MAC

EXTRACTING THE FILES
After downloading to your computer, the .zip files will need to be extracted before transferring them via disk to your MPC.

With OSX, you should be able to double-click the .zip file and open it.

If not, to extract the files use the application ‘Stuffit’.
Go to http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander to get a copy.

EXTRACTING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Double-click the .zip file
Step 2. Locate the expanded folder on your Desktop.

MPC 2500, MPC 1000 and MPC 500

Step 3. Connect your MPC to your computer with a USB cable.

Step 4. On your MPC, go to your Load function page (mode+pad2) and select USB. If your card is properly inserted in your MPC’s card slot, your Compact Flash Card disk image should appear on your desktop.

Step 5. Now select the folder you previously extracted and drag and drop it into your MPC’s disk image.

MPC 2000XL and MPC 2000

Step 3. Select all the files within this folder and transfer to your MPC or PC formatted media disks (Zip or floppy).

MPC 3000

Step 3. Select all the files within this folder and transfer to your MPC formatted media disks (Zip or floppy).

Attention: Some Mac-formatted CD-ROMs are not readable by the MPC2000. We strongly suggest you transfer your sounds to Zip or floppy disks

Leave the other folders on your hardrive for back up.

How do I recieve my download?

After payment, you will be taken to a download page where you can grab your new kit! You will also receive an email receipt that will include a download link that will be good for 24 hours.

Sorry, but no. Each person who uses the sounds must purchase their own copy.

Can I loan the sounds from / to friends or colleagues to check them out?

No. The license you bought is not transferable to a third party.

If you run a studio and offer our sounds to your clients, then you are required to have a Multi-User license. Please contact us for more information.

No.

Do you ship the sounds?

Currently, we do not ship Zip disks, Floppies or Compact Flash cards. Digital download purchases will not be shipped out to you.

How-To Transfer Files To Your MPC Using Windows

EXTRACTING THE FILES
After downloading to your computer, the .zip files will need to be extracted before transferring them via disk to your MPC.

Windows Vista and XP both have a built-in extraction software.

For other Windows systems, if you don’t already have winzip installed on your system, go to http://www.winzip.com and download winzip.

WINDOWS EXTRACTING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Download your file from us.
Step 2. Locate that .zip file on your computer and right click on top of it.
Step 3. Open Winzip and select ‘Extract to folder’.
Step 4. Select a destination folder.
Step 5. Uncheck the ‘Use folder names’ box in the bottom left of the window.
Step 6. Click ‘Extract’.

For MPC 2000XL and MPC 2000

Step 7. Select all the files within this folder and transfer to your MPC or PC formatted media disks (zip or floppy).

For MPC 3000

Step 7. Select all the files within this folder and transfer to your MPC formatted media disks (zip or floppy).

Attention: Some PC formatted CD-ROMs are not readable by the MPC2000. We strongly suggest you transfer your sounds to Zip or floppy disks.
For MPC 2500, MPC 1000 and MPC 500

Step 8. Now select the folder you previously extracted and drag and drop it to your MPC’s disk image.
